Marine fitters are required to engage with a small team dedicated to maintain a fleet of tugboats.  Their role is to carry out maintenance work, repairs and overhauls on all the machinery (including deck equipment) on board the Company’s tugs and all the necessary work involved during breakdown, overhauls and surveys.  The ideal candidates are expected:

•    To have previous work experience in a similar position
•    To be able to trouble-shoot and fault find defects or malfunctioning in machinery breakdowns
•    To be multi-skilled and be familiar with the use of all the workshop equipment and tools
•    To be self-motivated and carry out his duties in a professional and responsible manner
•    To work on their own initiative and off-site carrying out maintenance and repairs
•    Be willing to work as rostered call-out fitters as well as work flexible hours as and when required
